The Sobriety Skills Group is intended specifically for adults who are thinking about drinking less, staying sober, or just figuring out their relationship with alcohol.

Whether you’re sober or trying to cut back, you are welcome here. This supportive environment is built on a sense of community, judgment-free, and focused on finding support through shared experiences.

This group is for adults who…

  • May be noticing an increase in drinking patterns lately

  • Want to cut back or stop drinking entirely, but haven’t found anything that works

  • Feel stressed about the upcoming holiday season and being around loved ones

  • Want more accountability and connection with peers who can relate

  • Struggle with how to healthily cope with your mental health or life stressors

Within this Sobriety Skills-Based Group you will…

  • Learn realistic tools to manage cravings, triggers, and difficult emotions for both immediate and long-term coping.

  • Feel seen, heard, and validated by connecting with others who can relate to you in a safe, vulnerable, and honest environment.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the neuroscience behind the brain-body connection in relation to alcohol use and other addictive behaviors.

  • Build a sense of confidence in making decisions that align with your values so that it extends to other areas of your life as well.

  • Work on strategies to help build healthier routines and boundaries for yourself, giving you greater self-awareness around drinking patterns.

Group meets virtually on Thursdays from 12:00-1:00 PM EST. This group will run for 8 weeks (skipping the week of Thanksgiving) starting on October 16th, 2025.

Folks who live in NC or SC are eligible to join! Spots are limited to 8-10 individuals to keep group dynamics small.

Cost of each group session: $60
